This was the worst game Richard had ever played in his life, and that included MateHub’s short-lived attempts to expand their merch into the board game market with Monoporny. Creating a porn empire had been significantly less fun than advertised, but even that hadn’t been as tedious as Moonlit Bonds.

“How did they manage to make fucking so boring?” He double-pressed the A and B buttons to change up his angle and speed.

Neither Max nor Hunter was listening.

“How does he keep getting them to sleep with him so fast?” Max asked in an awed whisper, his amber eyes fixed on where Richard’s avatar was currently fucking a stable boy up against a tree. “He’s averaging one every two minutes. I didn’t know you could speedrun this game.”

“Speedrun? It’s been hours!”

“How does he make them come so quickly?” Hunter replied to Max, voice equally quiet, like they thought speaking at a regular volume would mess with his gameplay.

As if on cue, the stable boy came, his groans filling the apartment. Richard hit the down arrow, his softening dick sliding out easily, no knot in sight. He sighed.

“Damn. That was number ninety-two,” Max said. “Do you think he’ll make it through them all?”

“Statistically speaking, he has to find his mate before he gets through the one hundred fuckable characters, right? I’ve never heard of anyone fucking all ninety-nine before they get to their mate.”

There was a prince that lived in this castle. Might as well have Lord Softfluff fuck him while they were there.

One minute later, Richard had His Royal Highness ass-up in the throne room.

“How does he do that?” Max hissed.

“Is that guard waiting for his turn?” Hunter asked.

“It’s not difficult,” Richard said. “They have certain needs. You figure out the things that make them feel good, then give them those things. Why didn’t they make it more challenging?”

On screen, the prince’s pleasure bar was five percent away from full. Richard pressed the B button repeatedly.

Next to him, Hunter made a releasing gesture with both his hands and whispered, “Unleash now a euphoric knot!”

Richard did not snicker at that.

But Hunter’s magic didn’t seem to be working that evening. Lord Softfluff’s dick slid out of the prince. The guard was a similarly quick disappointment.

“Six more to go.” Max sounded entirely too pumped.

Richard collapsed against the couch and thrust the controller blindly at him. “You do it then.” He’d been fucking for hours; he was done. This game had managed the impossible—making him sick of sex.

“He hasn’t fucked his childhood best friend yet,” Hunter said.

“Ooh, good idea. He lives around here, doesn’t he?”

Richard watched as Max tracked down Lord Softfluff’s best friend. “Tell him you’ve been an asshat for not finding him sooner, and then if there’s an option for it, say you want to start over, no years of bitter longing between you.”

Both Max and Hunter snapped their heads toward him.

“What?” he asked.

“You read some play guide for this, didn’t you?” Max’s eyes narrowed.

“Why would anyone need a guide for a game this easy?” Richard asked as he pulled out his phone and started scrolling through a recipe site.
